Introduction to Industrial Process Control:
Industrial Process Control is one of three courses developed to assist the individual to have the knowledge necessary to pass the International Society for Measurement and Control's (ISA) certified control system technician exam (CCST).
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to do the following:
- Identify & Use the ANSI/ISA-S5.1 Consensus Industrial Standard Process Symbols
- Troubleshoot to the Device Level Basic Process Control Systems Given Either the Process & Instrumentation Diagram &/or the Instrument Loop Diagram
- Use Several Different Tuning Strategies to Effectively Tune a Process Controller Given a Software Simulated Single Loop Controller

- Perform the Required Calculations to Find Typical Process Control Parameters Given a Software Simulated Single Loop Controller Configured in Either Proportional, Proportional & Integral, Proportional & Derivative, or Proportional & Integral & Derivative Modes
